Paul has over thirty years’ experience in banking and financial services, specialising in credit and structuring within the natural resources sector.

An experienced financier with extensive transaction management and deal execution experience, he has an extensive network of sector and market players (mining companies, banks and advisors) world-wide. This, together with a strong credit and structuring background, ensures clients are best advised for financing and investment.

He started his career at Barclays prior to joining Coutts (Royal Bank of Scotland) and then Standard Bank where Paul headed the Mining & Metals deal origination and execution team in London.

Since leaving banking at the end of 2013, Paul has worked as a consultant providing independent mining finance advice to mining companies globally.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services, Finance & Economics from the University of Manchester.
