Lee is a chartered engineer with over 25 years of experience in the mining and metals sector covering operational, consulting and finance roles.

He started his career with AngloGold, working as a mineral resource evaluation analyst on deep level gold mining operations in South Africa.

Lee then moved into technical consulting with SRK, where he specialised in managing due diligence studies and technical audits for internal and external financing, acquisition and mergers and independent competent person’s reports in both South Africa and the UK office.

He then moved into banking joining the Mining and Metals team at Barclays Capital where he was responsible for the management and monitoring of technical, environmental and social aspects of all mining and metals transactions globally, and origination and execution of mining project finance and advisory business.

Since leaving Barclays, Lee has provided consulting and advisory services exclusively in the mining and metals sector, working closely with management teams on technical and financial strategies and debt advisory mandates.
