Gursharan has over thirty years’ experience in the financing and structuring industry, specialising in the mining and metals industry.

He commenced his career at Ernst & Young in 1991, where he gained his accounting qualification and experience across a variety of financial and industrial sectors.

He then moved into the investment banking sector, spending over 15 years at Standard Bank, ultimately became a senior member of the Commodity Structuring Team, involved in providing structured finance, offtake and risk management solutions to clients across the mining, trading, and consumer sectors.

Since leaving banking, Gursharan has provided strategic and transactional advice to corporate and private (family office) clients, across multiple sectors, including commodities and equity investment.

Gursharan has a BA (Hons) in Mathematics from Oxford University, MBA from Birmingham University and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales.
